The newspaper’s target readers are acupuncturists, and students in acupuncture schools in U.S., venders, and readers who are interested in Alternative Medicine in America.

  1. Mission

We provide Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) related news and information along with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in order to help our readers to practice more efficiently with confidence.

  1. Value
  • Practical Information: Our news articles cover mainly current and scientifically proven medical information of acupuncture and herbal medicine that could be immediately applied to practice. In order to provide better acupuncture and herbal formula related information, the newspaper value Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM). TKM is very practical for diagnosis and treatment than TCM. More articles supporting benefits from TKM will be introduced. Articles of the newspaper also cover California Acupuncture Board’s rules and regulation, health insurance related issues.
  • Collaboration: We value participation of readers of Acupuncture Times. We have belief that ten ordinary peoples’ one step is greater than a great man’s ten steps. We have strong belief that as we communicate efficiently and share valuable information, we can make better acupuncture community in America.
  1. Columnist and volunteer student reporters

The newspaper is working with columnists, who have experience and well recognized by peer acupuncturists, in order to provide more practical TKM related information for our readers.

The newspaper also provides chances for students to write their school related news and valuable information regarding acupuncture and herbal medicine. We believe that students who involve acupuncture community as a reporter by covering news articles surely get benefits for their future career pathways.

Also, the newspaper welcomes acupuncturists’ clinical experiences sharing through newspaper or our web site. If you are interested in sharing your practice and information, please send us an email with   brief information of yours.

  1. Volunteer Proof Reader needed

The newspaper articles should be accurate in information and language. Due to most TKM information was written in Korean, we need to have more persons who translate Korean to English and write in English article. Also, we need more people who do proof reading.

For all volunteer personnel will have benefits such as attending lectures for free and have chance for Sa-am acupuncture and Sa-sang Constitutional Medicine related information along with free personal or in-group lecture.
