Pacific College of Oriental Medicine was founded in 1986 to provide Oriental medical and Asian bodywork. The college has been at the forefront of educating students and working in conjunction with lawmakers and medical professionals.
Pacific college has received awards for its acupuncture and Oriental medicine curriculum and clinical training, as well as research grants from the National Institutes of Health and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
Things make the college outstanding are the college has largest acupuncture college in the us and it has 3 ground campuses in New York, Chicago, and San Diego and online division. The college offers Master programs and entry-level doctorate programs such as DAc/DACM and post-graduate doctoral program online (tDAc/DACM).
The most distinct benefit for the students or prospective students is the college has ACAOM and WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) which is the same accreditor as University of California, USC, and other prestigious schools.
For the baggiest and the most important events of the college are Pacific Symposium which is scheduled on October 29th and providing a 100% on-line Transitional doctorate for acupuncture graduates.
