▷ Using One Yin and Two Yang Acupuncture Technique for Upper Body Emptiness
A patient with a narrow shoulder and broad pelvic complaints symptoms such as cold feet and hands, fatigue, anemia, dizziness, shallow breathing, and having phlegm on the throat. To treat symptoms, stagnation of Qi and blood on the lungs should be expelled by selecting LU9s, which are significant SAPs of the lung meridian.
Then, use LI11s, which is in interior-exterior relation, and take the role of HAPs make the treatment of One Yin and One Yang acupuncture technique. It is also possible to use Two Yangs and One Yin Acupuncture Technique for treatment of the symptoms by strong Qi drive to the head from the lungs.
To practice an acupuncture treatment based on Tow Yangs and One Yin Acupuncture Technique, insert needs in the order of LU9s → TE4s → LI11s for NF. If the symptom needs RF, the sequence will be in the order of LU9s → SI5s → LI11s.
▷ How to use One Yang and One Yin for upper body fullness
To drive the stagnated Qi and blood from the stomach down to the lower body, first, use ST36s, then SP4s, which are in the relationship of interior-exterior or SP5s to make One Yin and One Yang Acupuncture Technique.
Headache due to eating under lots of stress or severe nausea due to indigestion needs to be treated by GB41s, which are SAPs of HUMs or GB40s. Either GB41 and GB40 helps to regulate of upper body stagnation.
After insertion of acupuncture needles on ST36, then select SP5s which are in a relation of interior-exterior with the stomach and take the role of SAP to make RF of Two Yangs and One Yin acupuncture technique.
For chronic stomach pain or indigestion after having a common cold, take ST36 first then select BL60s, which are on HMs and SAPs to make NF Two Yang and One Yin Acupuncture technique.
▷ How to use One Yang and Two Yins to treat upper body fullness
One who has chronic spleen Qi deficiency and suffers from acute indigestion with a headache on his/her front of the head and nausea. To treat the symptom, ST41s, which take the role of SAPs, should be used first, then using SP9s should be followed to make One Yang and One Yin acupuncture technique. SP9 is in relation to the stomach in the interior-exterior and takes the role of HAPs.
In case of severe Qi stagnation in the middle burner due to spleen Qi deficiency, RF is recommended. To make RF One Yang and Two Yin acupuncture technique, insert needles in the order of ST41s → LV4s → SP9s.
If a practitioner wants to increase the spleen Qi by treating chronic spleen Qi deficiency, the acupuncture procedure should be in the order of ST41s → LV4s → SP9s to make One Yang and Two Yin, NF acupuncture technique.
